For corrugated colorbond roofing.
Duct kits are a lot of work when going through the roof. All that work inside the roof to level up the pipe and brace it to the rafters. Then having to get upon the roof and flash around the pipe, all this work as well as making a hole in the roof.
It is much easier to put ducting through the eaves, however by doing that the flexible ducting has to run parallel across the ceiling. This is not a good call as a lot of water vapour will be allowed to condense and remain in the ducting that lays across the ceiling. This practice could cause SBS (Sick Building Syndrome) as well as a lot of work.
A MUCH BETTER IDEA IS TO USE THE SMOOTHLINE DUCTING SYSTEM FOR CORRUGATED COLORBOND ROOFING
- Simply cut a hole
- Drop a single or double spigot duct box into the hole
- Simply fix a self-flashing Smoothline vent over the box – job’s done easy as.
