WHICH ROOF VENTS ARE BEST

We believe and have been told by our customers that our Universal Tile Ventilators and our Smoothline Ventilator Systems are the best, why is that you may ask?

Well, most roof ventilation ventilators and ventilator apparatus including solar and power fans all depend on eaves ventilation for inlet air. There are a number of problems using eaves vents for inlet air. Number one – the eaves vents generally don’t share the same volume as the ventilators they are supplying inlet air for, secondly the mandatory insulation is approximately 200mil thick. This will block the eaves from the roofspace unless provision has been made for this and it usually has not.

It can be argued that a certain number of eaves vents will equally combine to equal the volume of any such ventilator, this is a real hypothetical and the differentiate of air flow will compromise any use the particular ventilator may be.

THE TRICK TO EFFECTIVE ROOF CAVITY VENTILATION IS TO HAVE A BALANCED SYSTEM OF INLETS AND OUTLETS OF THE SAME VOLUME

The difference with our ventilator systems is that they are balanced systems of the same volume, not only that the inlet is designed to direct the ambient air into the roof cavity to equalise the roof cavity with the surrounding air, this is the trick to effective roof ventilation.

By equalising the cavity with the ambient temperature balances the airflow and allows for effective airflow throughout the roof cavity, removing the stale putrid moist air with its many problems, summer heat for a cooler home and all the condensation problems of winter etc.

Anything out of balance is like a see saw, with one person which will collapse and just simply will not work to achieve an end result.

This is why we and 1,000’s of customers, know our roof vents are the best. Read our Customer Testimonials.
